Itinerary
03/24 – Pick-up at Airport. Quito, Ecuador overnight at fabulous Hotel Quito.
03/25- Breakfast in the penthouse restaurant, Techo Del Mundo. Midday flight from Quito to Coca, Reception at the Coca airport by our guide, Jorge de la Selva (George of the Jungle), tour of Coca's markets then a Ranchera (colorful indigenous open-air bus) for a scenic tour through the jungle, Palm plantations, to the small river called Rio Negro to the wide Aguarico (headwaters of the Amazon, means “Rich Water” as Gold is found upstream) by motorized canoe tour to Low Jungle and arrive at Paradise Lodge. Dinner, relax and then optional nighttime wildlife excursion (Tarantula & Wolf Spider hunt).

be presented with a Corona (Crown) for ceremony (See Website). Trek to Sacred ceremonial hut. Drink Ayahuasca as many times as you like, each last about 1-3 hours. 3-10 times, in one night, is awesome!03/27 - (7:00AM) - Return to Paradise Lodge, breakfast, rest, day with our guide Jorge learning secrets of jungle life, medicinal plants and their uses. Lunch at lodge. Journey by canoe up the Shushufindi River for bird-watching, a chance to see the wonderful rare pink dolphins, Caimans, crocodiles and so much jungle wildlife. Full Evening meal at lodge.
03/28 - Breakfast followed by a river or jungle excursion. Lunch, learn how to use a blowgun, bow & arrows (we’ll have a competition), and view exhibit of skulls of many local animals, play typical instruments. Then make delicious yucca bread w/ hot pepper paste – your participation is invited! Evening meal.
Lunch,begin light fast for private yage ceremony at lodge if desired.
IMPORTANT: We ask that you bring at least one full suitcase or duffle bag of children’s clothes, shoes, small men and ladies clothes, jeans, etc. to donate to the indigenous families. Medicines samples of all kinds are much needed if you have access to them and we will donate to the cash strapped hospitals. You are allowed 2 checked bags at about 65 lbs, plus one carry-on and backpack or purse.
